This year Rev. Lucas St. Clair of Anderson, Indiana will be ministering to us. He has preached at several rallies and Winter Warm-Ups in the past and has always been an inspiration to our fellowship. As well, Rev. Steven Gill will be ministering to our youth during daily teen services, helping to advance their abilities in interacting with the world as Christians. Our theme for 2020 is Sent by the Holy Ghost. We are ambassadors for Christ and are sent into this world to seek out the lost and help those in need. We cannot do this alone but if God before us, who can be against us? This year let us be unified as a great army and send the enemy of our souls a notice--we are coming out with the Holy Ghost stronger than ever, and your kingdom will fall! Over 14 folks received or were refilled with the Holy Ghost. Several others were called into ministry or had a new calling placed in their personal lives.
Pastor Akil Thompson had a profound message each evening, empowering us to go deeper in our relationship with the Lord. Each day it was exciting to see the teaching and youth activities our youth leaders and local pastors provided for all the attendees. Working together as the body of Christ made this 2019 Apostolic Camp Meeting unforgettable. Moving forward, we’re focused on the 2020 camp meeting at the Santa Claus Campground, in Santa Claus, Indiana. Registration will open in September, giving each of our registries the ability to enroll early and make payments over time, helping everyone easier accommodate the the cost of camp. Please visit our website at www.acmin.weebly.com regularly for updates, or subscribe to the site newsletter to receive them directly to your email. This was our biggest camp attendance to date. Rooms will fill up fast for 2020, so please don’t delay and register to attend soon. I pray for your continued blessing as we move toward accomplishing even greater works in God’s kingdom in 2020! This coming year we are excited to have made numerous changes in the administration of the camp that we feel will make the process and accessibility even greater.
But first things first, Pastor Akil Thompson will be back with us for a third year! God has anointed his ministry and as a new full time Pastor we are blessed that he feels to come again and minister to this camp. The ministry feel unanimously that he is the man of God anointed for this moment in time for this camp. They have made many friends here in the Tri-State and feel a connection that has been God ordained and all have felt a great impact in their lives. From a registration perspective, we have made many new changes. When we go live on October 15th you will be able to choose rooms, choose bunk preferences and even purchase merchandise all from the registration site. One big new change is the ability to make monthly payments to pay for camp! You will be able to choose, after putting down a 15% deposit, from several payment options to make affording camp better suit your financial situation. On the registration page, located here on the website, you will need to review all the information before you begin to enhance your registration experience. There are detailed instruction regarding the site, dorm room layouts, and specific instructions you will need to review and understand before you begin. We hope you find the new registration and payment options a great enhancement to your camp experience. We have worked diligently to make the process work seamless, if you have issues please contact us so we can swiftly resolve them. Blessings, ACM Ministry Team Over 38 people received the gift of the Holy Ghost and several others received healing and miracles. Some of our youth received new direction in their lives and a call to the ministry.
One of the reasons I feel God blessed us in such a mighty way, is because no one church came together to receive the glory or credit for camp meeting. It was a collective effort of several churches in the Tri-State area, working together for one purpose, and one purpose only, to see a great move of God. When God’s people come together in one mind and in one accord, God will honor their effort and pour out his Spirit upon them. Camp Meeting 2018 is swiftly approaching, and we have already begun working diligently to grow our attendance for this new and exciting year. Last year we had 126 in attendance on the campground and at night, we saw crowds pushing close to 600. It is our goal to raise the attendance to at least 225 staying on the campground and having crowds into the 800s, or more, at night. Our goal is to have as many people experience this mighty move of God that takes place in our camp meetings. We will start enrollment early this year and we even are allowing for internet enrollment and credit card processing for applicants. Start planning now for Apostolic Camp Ministries Camp Meeting 2018, June 25th – 29th. Looking forward to seeing you there. In Jesus' precious name, Jason Lawson Pastor at Apostolic Church of Evansville President of Apostolic Camp Ministries |
